The client reached out to address inefficiencies in shift planning within their Enterprise Planner software, which manages contact centers using AI, machine learning, and Big Data. They needed a solution that could automate shift assignments to enhance productivity, reduce scheduling conflicts, and optimize resource allocation. The project involved integrating OptaPlanner's advanced algorithms into their system, enabling automated, data-driven shift management. By implementing this, the project successfully streamlined operations, improved customer service, and boosted overall efficiency in managing contact center workflows.
Our Solution

Our solution offers Enterprise planner an automated Activities planning system that boosts workforce productivity, reduces conflicts, and efficiently allocates resources in its contact centers. For Enterprise planner's project, we provided the following services and technologies:

  1. Project setup, including Git.
  2.  Implementation of Optaplanner, using its advanced algorithms for optimized Activity planning.
  3. Analysis of previous resource schedules to identify areas for improvement and to address specific constraints of contact center management.
  4. Debugging of planning scenarios to ensure the Activities planning system works correctly and efficiently.
  5. Provision of a Score API that explains the optimization score generated by Optaplanner, aiding in better understanding and decision-making.
