MovieKingdom Pictures Inc. is a leading film and video production company focused on delivering diverse cinematic content. Oodles developed a Roku Channel and app, including a linear channel for Black Movie Max and a VOD app, while creating a Free Black Cinema channel. The project involved integrating ad breaks for monetization and optimizing functionality to enhance the entertainment experience.
Scope Of Work
In this project, our goal was to create a linear channel for Black Movie Max on the OTTera platform and develop a Video-on-Demand (VOD) app for Black Movie Max. Additionally to create a Free Black Cinema channel on Roku to replace the Movie Kingdom. To optimize monetization add ad breaks to all versions of the channel, including pre-roll, mid-roll, and post-roll placements. And aim to enhance the channels' functionality and deliver an exceptional entertainment platform for our clients.
Our Solution
Our team provided an extensive solution for our client, MovieKingdom Pictures Inc., through the development of Roku Channels and Apps. We meticulously built two distinct channels to cater to their specific needs and audience preferences. Through our comprehensive solution, we aimed to provide MovieKingdom Pictures Inc. with a robust and diverse presence across multiple platforms. By catering to different viewing preferences and optimizing the user experience:
- We created the "Black Movie Max" linear channel on the OTTera platform and a Video-on-Demand (VOD) app for Black Movie Max on the muvi platform.
- Designed the channel on the Roku self-developer platform to replace the Movie Kingdom.
- Programmed the channel using Vimeo showcase and VAST code.
- Cloned versions of the Free Black Cinema and Black Movie Max channels were created on YouTube.
